Alora's Upholstery

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Alora Upholstery. From the very beginning, everything was easy and professional. They came to my home to pick up my window seat cushions and fabric, which made the entire process incredibly convenient. What really impressed me was their communication. They reached out several times with thoughtful questions to make sure they understood exactly what I had in mind. It was obvious they genuinely cared about getting every detail right rather than making assumptions. The work was completed promptly, they delivered everything back to my home, and the finished cushions are absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the pricing was very fair, and everyone I dealt with was kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with. It's not often that a company exceeds expectations from start to finish, but Alora Upholstery certainly did. I would recommend them without hesitation and will gladly use them again for future upholstery projects.

We have a beautiful Stickley sofa that was showing signs of wear after 28 years in our family room. Thanks to Ed Borges it looks and sits like new. Excellent fabric selection, an efficient approach to scheduling, and amazing speed between pick up and delivery.

I first met Eddie many years ago when he was working for a local high end furniture store in Malvern. At that time he upholstered a custom curved leather seat on a project I was doing as a general contractor. Fast forward to 2025, we needed some chairs redone that had first belonged to my grandparents. I called Eddie and learned he had set up his own shop. We exchanged some photos over text and ended up taking one of the chairs down to his shop for him to see in person. He had just the material we wanted, explained all the options and guided us through the process. We were so happy with the results that we just had him redo two swivel chairs as well.

Alora and her husband are wonderful furniture magicians. They took care of my dearly beloved leather couch cushions and made them look brand new. Alora made it a priority job because she knew it was my only real piece of lounging furniture (have a small house). She was professional, polite and clearly cared to do the best job. Additionally, she gave me a reasonable estimate when other companies quoted me hundreds dollar more. Alora and George are quite the team. They even gave me suggestions on how to care for my couch. I will be back here for all my furniture needs.
